Fall Foliage: Best Cities to See the Leaves Change

Life in the northern hemisphere is changing. Warm sunny days battle with cool rainy days, a fresh wind is sweeping in, leaves are turning a golden hue and the days are becoming a bit shorter. Autumn / fall has officially begun.

And with that, some locations transform into a blanket of gold and red. It’s a beautiful sight, even our Kaplaners say so. Take a look at our top city picks for autumn.

Boston

First on the list is Boston where maple trees blaze fiery reds, oranges and yellows across the entire New England area. Many people tour specific areas or head out of the city to take in the spectacle, but there are many places within Boston you can visit.

Boston Common, the Public Garden, the leafy neighbourhood of Bay Back and the historic Harvard Square provide beautiful settings to take in the warm autumn tones.
