English courses in England: Beatrice's story

This week, we hear from Beatrice, a 20 year old Italian student who chose to study English in Cambridge. The university student spent her summer vacation taking English courses to prepare for the Cambridge English: Advanced exam, and shared what she has thought of her Kaplan English courses and her future goals.

How has your English improved since studying at Kaplan?

I think it has improved quite a lot: I can speak more fluently than before and I've been able to enrich my vocabulary.

What do you love the most about Cambridge?

It is not too crowded nor too big, but you can find everything you need. It has a lot of parks and people are friendly.

What do you like about the school?

It has nice common spaces, like the study center and the garden.

What do you like the most about your teachers?

They try their best to teach useful and interesting things in an enjoyable way.

What has been your best experience at Kaplan so far?

I loved the classes, thanks to our teacher Aga.

Why would you recommend Kaplan to your friends back home?

Because Kaplan organizes a lot of social activities you can join, but you have also the opportunity to be independent and to do things on your own.

Making new friends is one of the highlights of the Kaplan experience.

How do you think studying English with Kaplan will help your future?

I'm planning to take the CAE and I hope this course will help me pass it. Also, studying English here might be useful for my future job and for university.

What do you plan to do after you finish studying?

Going back to university in Italy, getting my degree and maybe a PhD or an MBA abroad in an English speaking country.

Do you think this course has helped you with your future goals? How?
I think so because I'm planning to take summer anatomy and medicine courses abroad and I'll be required a good level of English.
